Extreme weather in the past weekend.
A great danger of flooding in South-Eastern Norway was forecasted the last week. In Østfold, Akershus and Oslo, it can rain up to 40-50 millimetres.
There is also a risk of flooding in Oslo and parts of Viken from Friday. A lot of rain during the week has resulted in large water flow in the watercourses.
There is also a risk of heavy rain in Agder, Vestfold and Telemark, Viken, Oslo and Telemark from night to Sunday and out next week.
There is also a small risk of landslides from Sunday.
Properties should be removed in from the gardens.
It is also recommended to clean gutters and drains, removing items of great value from basements and garages to the ground or in waterproof containers. Keep doors and windows to the basement closed, and in the worst case consider sealing with sandbags, according to a damage prevention officer in the insurance company Fremtind.
