During the two-days’ visiting, the delegation was received warm welcome by Shandong Department of Environment & Ecology (SDEE), visited Shandong Environment Protection Group (SEPG) (Fig.1) and Everbright Water (Fig.2-3) on the day 1 and exchanged existing technical solutions, challenges and expressed wishes for collaboration in the areas with common interests in environmental protection, wastewater treatment, resources recovery and reuse and sustainable water management. An ½ day seminar was organised by presentations given by partners from both sides and followed by a match-up meeting for detailed communication of the interesting partners.

For the seventh time, Storm Aqua AS organizes the annual “Climate Adaptation Days” at Clarion Hotel Energy in Tjensvoll on the outskirts of Stavanger, in collaboration with the SFI Climate 2050 research centre.

The conference sets focus on practical solutions for storm water management – stormwater quantity, water quality and reuse. We believe that the best solutions to current and future challenges on stormwater can be achieved with a holistic approach; an interdisciplinarity and an interaction between all sectors involved in stormwater management from early planning to operation and maintenance.

Session 6 addresses the topic of Rainwater Harvesting and reuse of wastewater resources, including the current situation and challenges, international experience, efforts and the newest results from the EU-H2020 project-Wide Uptake.

2021 International Workshop on Sustainable Urban Drainage has been successfully proceeded with combined physical and virtual participations. More than 30 invited keynote speeches during two days and a half-day student presentation. The workshop received 39 well prepared abstracts.

This is a great success event during the global pandemics.
